City homes tenant’s health fears over black mould and mushrooms growing from his walls

A man whose flat is so mouldy that mushrooms are growing on the walls says he is at the end of his tether.
Steven Greaves, 53, has lived in the Nottingham City Homes (NHC) flat in Bulwell for eight years and never had any problems until 18 months ago.

But over the last 18 months his ground floor flat has been getting more mouldy and mushrooms have started to sprout from the walls.
He said he believed it to be from an “overflow problem” in a flat above.
